“ Food was really really good. Been coming here for over 15 years, but first time in a least two due to where I live now. Looks like they opened up the place and have larger dining which was nice. Menu hasn’t changed but Covid rules basically make it a take out restaurant with the option to sit down if you dare. They are known for their borrego or lamb and it did not disappoint. May seem pricy, but the large was enough for two with leftovers. Probably the best I’ve had. Also tried their menudo to go, which was really good with tons of meat but not the best I’ve had. Finally tried a few tacos, carnitas, buche and boreego and they were huge. Made with homemade tortillas which make everything better. Service can be hit and miss, but was great on this occasion which is why I can give them 5 stars. ”

“ I am almost hesitant to divulge my favorite Mexican food spot in HB but after seeing the latest upgrades and seeing that even with change the food is ever reliable I couldn't help it. If you like AUTHENTIC Mexican plates, with HUGE PORTIONS, and flavor that's *chef's kiss* good then this is THE SPOT! I'd suggest go down the menu and pick a new item each visit and you won't be disappointed. (Then leave with at least a pound of carnitas for later. ) As the kids would say this rizz is 10/10 and that's righteous bro!! Huge note: they are super patient while I have tried to practice my Spanish and ready to help in English when I fail miserably ”
